Bayou Bar

The Bayou Bar at our New Orleans Hotel offers a casual tavern-style ambiance warmed by exposed wood. Once a drinking den for both Sinatra and Capote and the location of the historic christening of the New Orleans Saints in 1966, The Bayou Bar features an extensive whiskey and beer list. All are invited to hang out at the rollicking Steinway piano, the intimate tables, or the shotgun bar. No reservations are ever required or accepted.

The Silver Whistle Café

Welcome to the Garden District’s historic gathering place. The Silver Whistle Café is where the city’s judges, lawyers, and oil scions came to snag the coveted 10-top and gossip politics. Today, take your place at the historic ten-seat round community table, where the movers and shakers of old New Orleans would gather to talk politics, make deals and shape the history of this city over breakfast or lunch.

Jack Rose

Located on Pontchartrain’s ground floor, Jack Rose is a manifestation of New Orleans’ love of celebration through food (and drink), The culinary crown of the hotel, Jack Rose brings an eclectic and fun dining experience to the Garden District. The vibrant atmosphere encourages spontaneous celebration whether enjoying dinner in the Jack or Rose rooms, hosting an escapade in the Mile High Pie Club, snacking on small plates under the Lil Wayne Portrait in the Living Room, or sipping sparkling rosé in the Rose Garden Patio.

The Jack Rose resident menu features a mix of unpretentious and skillfully executed New Orleans’ craveable Italian, French, and Spanish dishes.

High atop the Pontchartrain Hotel, Hot Tin delivers as the convivial rooftop bar known for craft cocktails and chic atmosphere. The 1940s artist-inspired space, once a penthouse, hosts inside and outside areas to revel with first come, first served entry.

Sip on champagne and bright cocktails complemented by a 270-degree view of Downtown New Orleans and the Mississippi River, or lounge on our boho-inspired couches and explore the wall of curios and knick-knacks that bring moments past to the present.
